Great observation and post, Isobel. You're spot on. Starmer's lies and deliberate obfuscating is obvious to all, and yet he his not being held to account. Why? Is there no legal redress that can be used against him?

Perhaps our best hope is that Trump/Vance will nail his lies, especially now the US have warned him that the UK clampdown on free speech, may threaten US citizens who post online and US citizens are protected by the first amendment.

What a sorry state of affairs, hoping the US may hold Starmer to account because we are unable or unwilling to do so.

I think he should also be behind bars for turning Britain into an international pariah for torturing political prisoners. Britain has previously had a pristine record of NOT having political prisoners of any kind, and having an entirely "blind" justice system. We now have political sentencing, apparently based on discriminations which are in themselves illegal, in the latest sentencing guidelines. These kind of actions by a Government leader (for who else could possibly be responsible for actions not brought before parliament) indicate a Dictatorship of absolute power, which if it continues will lower the status of Britain even further and cause a civil war.
